Hit the play button on my video (below) for insights into what homebuyers are looking for in Maryborough homes.
As anyone who’s lived and worked in the Maryborough region will attest, we live in a community, not just a city. When buyers look at properties, especially in regional areas, not only are they looking for a home to live in but the benefits of a lifestyle in a rural community to.
We know real estate isn’t only about the bricks and mortar – it’s so evident that it’s about how it fits our family, work and friends. For such a small population, compared to big cities, Maryborough and its region offers plenty of opportunity for new residents to get involved.
In fact, I tell potential new residents that they only need to leave my office to walk down the street, to be greeted by locals. People actually say hello! Making friends is easy, just join a club or volunteer with a charity. There’s something for just about everyone: be as involved as you want to or not.
We have sports groups for all ages, outdoor pursuits or activities for those keen on the arts and creative projects. Some people contribute to the community as volunteer drivers, ferrying residents to medical appointments or delivering meals on wheels.
The intimate village feel of Maryborough and the walkability of our town are highly attractive to home buyers. Everything is in close proximity and there are two sets of traffic lights and no parking meters to contend with.
It’s simply a wonderful place if you want a real estate agent who can sell the lifestyle, not just the property, reach out to me!
