I’ve been in the property industry since 2002. For the past 21 years I have worked with the agency Ballarat Real Estate, where I assisted in establishing our Maryborough office in 2006.
My career highlights include speaking at AREC, Australia’s largest real estate conference in 2023, where I shared my real estate journey with 4,500 property professionals. A small country real estate agent, with a. much lower median price than most areas, and a determination to be a great property professional focusing on people and experiences rather than just getting the deal done. Proudly, I have also been awarded Rate My Agent’s Sales Agent Of The Year for Maryborough, Victoria, several years in a row, from reviews of buyer sand sellers, and have been a finalist in National Real Estate Business’s Women Of The Year awards.

As a goal-oriented person, real estate keeps me highly enthused and challenged, no, this isn’t my line for a job interview! It is certainly a rewarding role to be a part of what is the biggest asset you will purchase, and I am looking forward to being you go to person when you need local property information.
Prior to working in real estate in property sales, I ran a restaurant, “The Broadway Cockatoo Cafe’ for 13 years in Dunolly. It was also rewarding and exciting, just different. Both businesses require excellent customer service skills, something I truly enjoy; I love people, I love their stories, and I love helping clients move forward on their property journeys. There is no day the same; that’s what makes it a fantastic industry and role.
Ultimately, I chose to focus on real estate because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and enjoy the challenge of getting the best possible result for my clients. No two properties are the same, and with 7,000 people as contacts in my marketing database, I endeavour to help match a property to the right buyer. Every property has the next owner. I am here to help put the connection together.
People move to the Central Goldfields for the lifestyle. Maryborough is a thriving regional centre with great schools, ample community facilities, a new hospital and plenty of opportunities to get involved in activities, from creative pursuits to sporting teams. The choices are yours; you can be as involved as you want to be or not.
Our two smaller townships close by, Dunolly and Avoca, offer a quieter pace of life and are equally appealing to buyers as our larger town of Maryborough. And, thanks to technological advancements, people can now work remotely while enjoying a wonderful lifestyle in a historic region surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. And both Avoca and Dunolly are only around 20 minutes drive to Maryborough, your regional centre.
As a gold mining area, we have an eclectic mix of houses, from 1800s heritage homes to mid-century properties, modern builds, and new housing estates. I proudly am the chosen lead agent on a high number of properties for sale each year, and will continue to assist both buyers and sellers on their property journey.
As a proud local community member for over the past 40 years, I love encouraging others to move to the Central Goldfields and surrounds. I choose to live here and love to tell others. Maryborough was announced in 2024 as being in the top 3 in Australia of retirees, due to affordability, services and popularity, and this meant number 1 in Victoria. Every sale is different, and I like to ask a lot of questions to understand exactly what my seller needs from me and what information and assistance they require. Whether that’s help preparing their home for sale or finding their next property, my aim is to make the process less stressful, it should be a great experience. Buyers like dealing with me because I grew up here and have insider knowledge that only a true local would have.

Work with me, and you’ll find I am friendly, transparent, and knowledgeable about the region, homes, and real estate laws and regulations. My preferred method of sale is negotiation (also called private treaty) because buyers are often subject to finance and have to await a bank valuation before their loan is approved.
In addition to real estate sales, I commit time each year to fundraising for the children’s charity Hands Across the Water. Cycling across Thailand each year, I have raised over $50,000 for children’s homes located overseas. See the Charity section on the webpage. In October 2026, I will be cycling 500km in the North and 500 km in the South. And excited that a close friend Nickola, will be joining the 50-strong team of Australians, English, Swedish and American, mostly Real Estate Professionals.
